Retired as MD and GIC Head of Office Australia recently. Was GIC Country Head for Aust & NZ real estate over the last 10 years.
Invested significantly more than US$10b in well over 100 transactions.
Strong experience and track records in building business platforms
Began his career as research engineer at Dupont; subsequently worked at Milliken and Solutia (now Eastman) in various roles including product development, customer support, quality assurance, technical sales and regional marketing. Invented the worlds’ first nucleating agent for polyethylene, a breakthrough product for Milliken Chemical.
Managed Singapore’s national programme on deep tech start-ups. Assisted over 20 deep-tech start-ups, guiding them in validating technologies and optimising their cost structures.
PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Cambridge. Also co-founded two companies.
Deep knowledge and expertise in the renewable energy sector with a focus on solar and wind systems, gained over 14 years of hands-on and leadership experience in the industry.
Founder and MD of SENE Pte Ltd, a renewal energy company providing full turnkey system integration solutions in solar photovoltaic, wind and hybrid projects and renewable engineering consultancies, in both private and public sectors in Singapore and the Asia Pac region.
Graduated from NTU with a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Started his career in ST Aerospace and then in DSTA.
Over 20 years of finance experience within the FMCG industry across diverse markets in Asia, MENEA, and Europe.
